Boswellin

Boswellin is the third main ingredient in Syn-flex (Synflex). For evey one 1/4 oz Syn-flex (Synflex) serving, there is 8 mg Boswellin.

Boswellin is a derivative of the Boswellia serrata tree that grows in India. It's also known as boswellia or "Indian frankincense." Unlike modern NSAIDs (nonsteriodal anti-inflammatory drugs) like ibuprofen and aspirin, Boswellin doesn't cause stomach irritation or other harmful side effects.

Boswellin has been used for centuries in the Indian Ayurvedic system of medicine to maintain healthy joints. The herb has beentraditionally used as an anti-inflammatory against most types of arthritis. Boswellic acids, the active components of Boswellia Serrata, improve blood supply to the joints and maintain the integrity of blood vessels. At least one study has indicated that they may open up collateral blood circulation to provide a more adequate blood supply to your joints. Boswellin also serves to reduce swelling and improve mobility where individuals experience stiffness in the joints.
